We are delighted to be able to offer NHS Orthodontics Service at Yate Dental Surgery and are now able to accept referrals from other dental providers in the local area.
Our waiting list is currently 6 months (approx) due to an increase in our NHS Orthodontic contract and our specialist Orthodontist Joanna working three days a week to service this. We have also recently invested in a digital scanner to enable us to provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment, both privately and on the NHS as efficiently as possible.
NHS Referrals
NHS referrals need to be on the Southwest Orthodontic Referral Form which is provided with the link below..
NHS Criteria
- Patient has excellent level of oral hygiene.
- Patient is caries free or has been stabilised.
- Patient is motivated for treatment.
- Patient is under 18 years if age at the time of referral.
- Permanent dentition established or close to being established.
- IOTN of 3d/6 or above
